Mammoth Creek RV is not your typical RV park. First off the owner, Tim Wood is one of the finest men you will ever meet. His RV park is on 13 acres of natural landscape land. In other words, it is totally natural, tumbleweeds and all. It is obvious, he keeps up on the maintenance. This park has free laundry and showers. It has a nice game room for the campers to meet up in, complete with a card table, Big Screen, darts and ping pong table. There is a group fire pit since there are NO fire pits... or grills at the sites. It is at least a 45 minute drive to the nearest grocery store, so stock up. The park is also located on a dirt road. We are told it was graded, so I could give it a grade of D. It was bumpy, although no pot holes. The park as a basket ball goal, and a pickle ball court. As far as my site, it was dirt/gravel. The odd thing is sites 1, 2, and 3 are "pull in" sites. So if you are towing a trailer, you will pull in, unhook, then back out over the patio area. It would be ideal for Class A RVs.Did I Mention the dog park. It is HUGE, with nice grass. Your dogs will love it.read more

We love this place. We are normally boondockers but decided to try MCRV as it was recommended by local folks we know. Great decision. Spent a month there and loved it. 2 days in to our stay the owners put on a huge cookout for the 4th, and even I managed to meet and make new friends. Super monthly rate as well as amenities, Wi-Fi and activity center, dog and kid friendly, what more could you want? Okay, free laundry too! We’re spending 2 months here next summer. Thanks Tim and Lori Wood, Lou... and Cindy too, best park ever.read more

Was heading home from a very dry and windy Duck Creek area, when we came across Mammoth Creek RV Resort. The resort is small with nine level and secluded sites, all having full hook ups. This is truly a family resort. Two fenced dog runs, basketball shooting court, a recreation room for kids and adults. This room has plenty of games, Movie projector screen with movies available, , cd’s etc. If cooking, go to garden greenhouse for free fresh veggies. We were welcomed by Tim and Lorie, the owners... with welcome gifts and an invite to a lunch potluck with the residents of the resort. We were going to spend three nights but developed friendships with Tim and Lorie and several residents. We end up spending almost 3 months . Plan on every year staying at the resort , it is truly refreshing and clean with other amenities. We rate at five stars.read more

Well, we can't say enough wonderful things about this place! The owners are absolutely amazing. The moment you arrive you are greeted with a warm and friendly welcome!! They truly make you feel as if your home. The laundry room is sooooo clean and fabulous! The dog parks are absolutely amazing. It was so clean which and when it comes to our pups we are incredibly picky! There was plenty of GREEN grass for them to run, and even a sweet little bench under a shading tree for us to sit! One... of the most beautiful things about this place was the greenhouses on the property ✨️!!!!! Yes! The greenhouses were filled with all different types of fruits and veggies. Just beautiful!!! The owners so graciously allow you to pick from them throughout your stay. This place is so peaceful and needless to say, an absolute hidden gem!!!!! We feel so blessed to have the opportunityto stay there. Thank you Mammoth creek for accommodating us in September 2022. We sincerely hope we can return one day soon. Mark and Jess Helmkaread more

We had an excellent experience staying here! There are only a few RV spots and they were relatively private, level, and had full hookups. The owners, Tim and Lori, were extremely sweet and accommodating - not only do they offer free laundry, but we got access to their greenhouses full of fresh vegetables and fruit. The location and property are fantastic, nestled between gorgeous low mountains, with easy access to Zion and Bryce National Parks, and Cedar Breaks National Monument, all within... an hour drive. If you are planning on spending any time in the area or visiting the parks, do yourself a favor and stay here! Our only complaint was that we couldn't spend more time there 🙂read more

This park is a hidden gem! I love the large dog park! My golden doodles had a great time! They even met a new friend. The bathrooms are good size and clean. The game room is a lot of fun, so many things to do! Make sure to get a map from the game room. It shows you all the local scenic routes, trails etc. it was a great thing to have. Wi-Fi didn’t work well for us. We used our orbic/ or hotspot. We loved the green house! We picked carrots, kale, lettuce, squash, zucchini and cilantro! We just... took enough for 2 people. Large lots, full hook ups and trees. Very relaxing and quiet campground. We will definitely stay again!read more

Stayed at mammoth creek RV resort for four nights. We will definitely come back. Owners Lori and Tim are very nice, they have a game room, community fire pit, basketball court with hopscotch and box ball, Free washer, dryer and showers, and large dog park. Highly recommended. They have green houses that you can pull anything from tomatoes, corn or lettuce for free. They just ask for a donation of whatever you want to leave. Spots were level and had great hook ups. UTV/ATV trails right from the... campsite. Thank you for the fun weekend!read more

We stayed at Mammoth Creek RV resort in June 2022. The owners of the campground were so wonderful to work with and accommodating during our stay. We had everything we needed while we were there. The campground is a bit away from everything, but the peace and quiet and beauty of the area is worth a little extra drive from the main road. Our site was equipped with full hook ups and the site's laundry room was very clean! There was even an activity center that our kids loved playing in while we... were there. There is a projector to watch movies with your whole family, as well as other games to play. We even saw some deer roaming through the park. There is a dog park inside the campground that was also great. We would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone traveling to the area or trying to visit Bryce Canyon National Park. Make sure to get directions from the owners about which route to take so you don't end up on the dirt road for the ride in to the park. They were very helpful in making sure we took the right road!read more

We spent a wonderful four nights at this RV Park and had an awesome experience. The owners are so kind and accommodating. There’s a list of amenities like two dog parks, basketball court, community fire pit, laundry room, rec room with big screen movie projector, games, ping pong, and more. The park is small and quiet but the sites spacious. This location is tucked into a valley surrounded by a National park. Plus great wi-fi for those still working. Give them a call. You won’t regret it.

This place is amazing! It is located conveniently to Zion and to Bryce National Parks. The owners are super accommodating and so hospitable! We enjoyed seeing deer come down to feed in the mornings and late afternoons. The dog park is a centrally located haven for your pet and so clean, just like the rest of the grounds! The game room has an amazing ping-pong table and games for all ages! Walking the dog at night under the stars is a pleasure with no worries in this safe and secluded spot.

We had a wonderful stay at Mammoth Creek RV! It is a beautiful, quiet location, away from the noises of the highway yet convenient for our day trips to Zion and Bryce National Parks. Tim and Lori were super nice and accommodating to our schedule. We highly recommend a stay here!

Myself and a good buddy spent 5 days, 4 nights at Mammoth RV Resort and loved every minute of it! Tim and Lori (owners/hosts) have done such a fantastic job putting this place together. Clean and quiet, easy access, very large campsites with plenty of room to stretch out, relax and enjoy! Oh and the amenities are out of this world!I will be first in line to get my reservations for next season and I'm bringing my two sons with their campers and their families to this hidden gem. Thank You so... Much for making our stay a wonderful memory.read more

This place is a hidden gem! The owners are lovely, the spots are nicely spaced, bathrooms are clean and it is quiet. Plus, there is a rec room and sport court that our kids loved! Totally worth driving a few miles outside of Hatch to stay here. [Note: Cash/check only- an acceptable quirk, but would be lovely if a card could be used for reservation and payment.]. We'll stay here again.

This is a BEAUTIFUL RV Park!!! It is less than two years old, small and quiet. They only have 9 spots for RVs, either pull through or straight in with room for tow vehicles. Full hook-ups, wifi, dog park, CLEAN showers and laundry, community center, and a very large community fire ring. The ONLY drawback is there are no fire rings in the campsites. That is understandable as it is a high-risk fire area. The owner, Tim, met us at the gate and escorted us to our reserved site. They do res-only... because they are small and have a 4 night minimum stay. At $50/night it is well worth it. Each site has a CLEAN picnic table with NO spider webs or egg sacks. There is also a lined and lidded trash can in each site. Tim and Lori work very hard to provide you with a nice clean park for a memorable visit. Make your reservations early to be sure you can get your site for the stay you desire. It is well off the beaten path. Take US 89 to Fish Hatchery Rd. Do NOT follow Google's direction when it tells you to "slide left" as this will take you, I believe, to the fish hatchery. Continue straight until you come to a gravel road. From that point, it is about 1/2 mile on a washboard road, so take it slow. There is a clearly marked sign and you cannot miss it. If you like to fish, be sure to bring your ATV to find access to the creek. Some very nice large trout reside there and you won't be disappointed.read more

DOG & PLAY PARK

Our favorite amenity is our Dog & Play Park because it is important to us that all of our guests can play and run free! Both parks are fully grassed and have tables with chairs and umbrellas for everyone's enjoyment to play outdoor games.
